HubSpot
All-in-one CRM with marketing, sales and support tools in one place.
What HubSpot does
HubSpot is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform. In plain terms, it is one shared place where a business keeps every contact, company, deal, email and support conversation, so nobody has to ask a colleague for the latest on a customer.
What sets it apart from a simple contact list is that the marketing, sales and customer service tools all read from the same record. A visitor fills in a form on your website, a sales rep sees that lead with the pages they visited, and support later sees the deal that was won. Nothing needs to be copied between apps.
The free CRM is a genuine starting point rather than a short trial. Most teams begin there, then add paid tools for marketing, sales or service as the business grows.
Setup and learning curve
Most small teams can import contacts and set up a first pipeline in a day. Marketing automation and reporting take longer to set up properly. Higher tiers may include guided onboarding.

The 'from' prices above are for the entry CRM seat. Marketing, Service and bundled Customer Platform plans cost more, and the Professional and Enterprise tiers can require a one-time onboarding fee.
On our check date HubSpot showed an introductory offer of $7 per seat per month on Starter for new customers who commit annually. Offers like this change often, so confirm on HubSpot's page before you buy.
Cost grows with three things: the number of paid seats, the number of marketing contacts you store, and which hubs you switch on. Teams that only need a CRM stay cheap; teams that add marketing email to a large list see the biggest jumps.
Currency: HubSpot lets buyers choose from several currencies, but we could not read those local prices yet, so everything is shown in USD until we verify them.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Yes. HubSpot's free CRM has no time limit. On our check it allowed up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts, and included contact management, deal pipelines, CRM import, a reporting dashboard, email tracking, task management, live chat, payment links and a mobile app.
The free plan is best for a very small team testing the system. Once you need more than two people, more contacts, or automation, you move to a paid seat.

Prices show in your local currency where a company lists them. Tools without a local price stay in USD, so do not compare those rows number for number.
Entry prices are for the cheapest paid plan and use each company's own billing basis (annual or monthly, local currency), so compare them as a guide, not a quote.

Is HubSpot really free?
Yes. The free CRM has no time limit. On our check date it allowed up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts and covered contacts, deals, email tracking, tasks, live chat and a reporting dashboard. Paid plans add automation, advanced reports and more users.
How much does HubSpot cost?
Paid CRM seats start around $20 per seat per month on Starter, from about $50 on Professional and from about $75 on Enterprise. Marketing, Service and bundled plans cost more, and new customers sometimes see lower introductory prices. Check HubSpot's pricing page for your exact quote.
Is HubSpot good for small business?
Yes, especially for teams of 2 to 20 that want to start free. If budget is very tight and you need more than two users, compare it with Zoho CRM or Freshsales, which have lower entry prices.
Why does HubSpot get expensive?
Price depends on seats, stored marketing contacts and which hubs you turn on. Adding marketing email for a large list, or moving to Professional with onboarding, are the usual jumps.
What is the best alternative to HubSpot?
It depends on the gap. Zoho CRM is cheaper, Pipedrive is simpler for sales-only teams, Freshsales is affordable with built-in phone and email, and Salesforce suits larger companies with complex needs.
Can HubSpot connect to my other tools?
Yes. It lists more than 2,000 apps in its Marketplace, including Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Zoom, Shopify, WordPress and Zapier.
