How we research and check software

Prices, plan names, free-plan limits and trial details come from each company's public pricing and product pages. On every profile we show the source and the date we last checked it.

Facts such as founding year and headquarters come from the company's own materials. Where a company's page could not be read by our check, we say so and mark the number as third-party until it is re-verified. Right now that applies to Pipedrive pricing.

We write every profile in our own words from the facts we collect. We do not copy company marketing text. Where we give a judgement, such as who a tool suits, we say what it is based on.

Each page shows a "last checked" date. Prices change often, so we re-check on a schedule and whenever a reader reports a change. Always confirm the current price on the company's site before you buy.

We never write, buy or edit reviews to change their meaning. Reviews come only from signed-in users with a real profile. Companies cannot review their own product, and paid placement will always be labelled if we ever add it.

Today we do not earn money from any link on this site. If that changes, we will label affiliate links and sponsored spots clearly, and it will not change how we describe a product.

If you find a mistake, tell us which page and what is wrong, and we will check it against the company's page and fix it. Correction reports will open with accounts, which are coming soon.
